Center of attraction being only and only the song “Sakeeriyan”,
the album is like turning pages of a lady’s life story from sad to happy, happy
to sad. Sakeriyan the title track is so amazing that I played it heavily again
and again, so soulful / turning the pages / voilinism! / bains’bains / soulful
tone / acoustic. This track is going to be remembered for sure and only two
names every body will remember is Ishmeet narula and Bunty bains. An eight
track album with every tack a new page of the book seems wonderful when played
back to back. All the tracks are pretty soulful except Ghaint jeha munda,
Trendsetter being the average ones. Brilliant lyrics for a female singer /
beautifully chosen words especially Sakeriyan, Ferrari, Maahi deyan naazan. The
voice of Rahat fateh ali khan the legend seems great but the solo version is a
lot more better, really it is the best one on the album with nicely arranged
violins, guitars, mouthorgan. Bee2 sounds amazing again! With Kudi khand da
khedna, Ishmeet sings in a folk tone and doing justice with duet songs and
keeping it on the floor all well.
Ferrari with very mischievous sounds and nice
lyrics grabs the attention.
Tere naal, Maahi deyan naazan both the slow paced,
beautifully sung, well arranged and nicely written are another part to be discovered
in Ishmeet narula’s singing.
